Laura Schwartzenberger lost her life fighting the good fight to save the innocent. She passed away February 2, 2021 while serving a warrant in violent crimes against children case. She joined the FBI in 2005 at the Albuquerque, NM Bureau. She transferred in 2010 to the Miami, FL office. There she got her start on the Cargo Theft Task Force. Later she transferred to the Violent Crimes and Fugitive Task Force which is where its said she found her true calling.

In 2016 she received the LEO Award for Federal Agent of the Year. In 2016 and again in 2019 she received the Outstanding Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award. She is survived by her husband of 16 years and 2 sons. May she Rest In Peace and God be with her family #SaveOurChildren
